I'm so sorry about the knee pain. I find it's easier said than done to let yourself rest between exercise sessions when you really like to exercise. I don't know about you, but I get a big high off exercising, and on the days I can't work out, I really miss it.

Sorry about the knee pain. I have been there before and it really stinks not to be able to work out. The best thing to do is to at least walk if you can or if you have access to an eliptical since that is easy on your joints it may not bother your knee. Either way take it easy and so don't push yourself to hard.

I love the blonde blonde hair, it looks really good on you!

Meanwhile have fun in Cleveland!

Hi ladies,

I'm back from my work trip to Cleveland. I really enjoyed my trip! I learned a lot and had a lot of fun (). I was so worried when I left that my knee would continue to bother me and it didn't, until I returned. I swam laps on Monday and Wednesday and walked a lot on Tuesday and Thursday and felt minimal pain. Friday we sat a lot and then drove back to Dayton. It wasn't until Friday night that I started feeling more pain. I didn't work out on Friday or Saturday, but I have today. I'm still having a lot of pain, but it really doesn't matter if I work out or not. (Can I put anymore frowny faces in this. ). Overall, I really enjoyed the trip, saw an Indians game, ate some wonderful food, my favorite restaurant was the chocolate bar. They have over a dozen different kinds of chocolate martinis. With all of the eating/drinking and lack of exercise I gained 4.5 lbs in one week! I know that I will lose it quickly, but wow, that's a lot in one week!

I've had a pretty relaxing weekend so far, but I have a lot to do before my trip this weekend to see my sister and my new nephew.

This work week is going to be really crazy too. I will have to catch up on everything that I missed and I have a lot of projects to work on from this trip. So, I may only be on the boards once a day.

Oh, I forgot to add, that AF came last Thursday, which means that I did not ovulate again last cycle. I'm pretty sure that I had/have multiple cysts from failed IVF. I started bcp yesterday in preparation for lap sx. Hopefully bcp will get rid of cysts and that my cycles will become "normal" after lap sx.

I'm so glad that you enjoyed your work trip. I'm sorry that the knee pain is back. I don't think you should worry too much about the weight gain. It's probably just water weight and will come right off.

I hope that the BCP will get rid of the cysts and that you can go back to TTC. I'm still really sad that IVF didn't work. I have complete confidence that you will be able to get pregnant and have a happy, healthy baby soon.

Sounds like overall a great trip! especially the chocolate bar...yummy! I think I wouldve gained 4.5lbs from a trip there alone Like you said, it will come off quickly.

I bet it was the sitting still for a long time which made your knee ache on friday. With my joint history, I always find its stiffness which causes more pain, rather than activity.

Are you going far to visit your sister and nephew? I hope your work week isnt too manic!

Elle, they are about 6 hours from where we live.

So today I went to my pre-op appt for my lap sx. My RE is truly convinced that I have endo and likely stage 3 or 4 endo. We didn't really discuss anything that I didn't already know. He said that if we want to transfer our frozen embie that next cycle after lap sx we could. DH and I decided to wait and won't likely transfer our embie until August/September at the earliest. We still aren't entirely sure if we want to do another IVF before the transfer, as we only have one frozen embie. My RE stated that if I have severe stage IV endo then he may have to stop the procedure and disucss the possiblity of having an open sx, which is more invasive and requires an inpatient stay. Hopefully, I'll have the lap sx and go home that day. RE thinks that I should be able to return to work that following Tuesday.

So, I'm really hoping that I have endo and that I will be able to conceive naturally once it is cleared.

This sounds weird to say, but I really hope you have endo!

Good luck with everything. Hope you're able to stick with the lap sx instead of an inpatient surgery.

If you have any questions about endo, you should ask Caitlin because she knows lots about it.

I am glad you had a good trip and I hope you have fun this weekend!!!! Why is your RE convinced you have stage 3 or 4 endo? I was diagnosed in Jan of 2011 with stage 3/4 endo after a lap to remove a cyst. I suspected that I had endo due to family history and my painful periods. What day is your lap? If you want to talk or have any questions feel free to PM me!

Thanks Caitlin, I may pick your brain as it gets closer.

He thinks I have endo because of our unexplained fertility. During IVF everything looked perfect on paper, we fertilized, had/have snow babies, etc...he thinks it was an implantation failure, which is likely due to endo. He states that he has rarely performed a lap without finding something (some stage of endo). RE states that a lot of times, those with few or no symptoms have the worst endo (in his experience). Though he presumes that I have stage 3/4 he definitely stated that it is very likely that I have some kind of endo as all other testing has not indicated anything to explain our infertility. Again, I'm wishing I have it, it's excised and I'm able to conceive, but of course, this may not be the case.

I understand where he is coming from now. I have also heard that a lot of women with no symptoms can have stage 3/4 endo. Definately let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Nicholle I have been thinking about you lady! I agree with the other ladies, it sounds weird to say but I hope that you have Endo! It would be great for you conceive naturally although there is nothing wrong with having some help. I am glad that you had fun on your trip. Knee pain is not fun at all : /

Hopefully BCP will regulate you and that it will all work out. Good luck sweetie and keep us updated please!

Thanks ladies!

I don't anticipate that I will ever get pregnant naturally, but I'm still hoping to! Trying to keep the positive thoughts going!

So, my summer is really starting to get busy. We have something planned every couple weeks. I just planned a girls trip to Nashville! I've never been there, so I'm excited!

Work is getting really busy as well. Looks like I will begin working long hours or taking work home with me. Oh well, the leadership program is only until February 2014. It will likely go by quickly!
