It has been a busy week!

Wednesday, July 3rd, I left work early to do some housecleaning as my BIL and SIL were arriving that day for the holiday weekend. My DH said he would clean, but he doesn't clean like I clean. So BIL and SIL arrived and we went to Bar Louie for $1 bottle night and dinner. A good time was had by all.

Thursday, July 4th, we were going to go to our friend's lake house for the afternoon, but it rained all day, so instead we went to a street fair. I ate almost half of an Amish fry-pie, it was so good! Then we drove to Columbus and went to Schmidts for some yummy German food. I ordered the Weiner Schnitzel, while DH and his fam ordered the Autobahn, a sausage buffet. We also had some yummy beer and cream puffs (well, I had the struedel for dessert)! As it stopped raining and cooled down considerably, we built a fire in our back yard and enjoyed the evening under the stars.

Friday, I went shooting for the first time. We have a gun, but I'm not a big fan of guns, so I've never touched it before. DH and his family like to shoot, so they convinced me to go to this outdoor shooting range for target shooting. I'm still not the best aim, but getting better. Then we cleaned the house for our party. We had about 25 people attend our 4th of July on the 5th party. Some people who RSVP'd yes didn't show, but that happens. DH made this awesome watermelon drink with watermelon, vodka, lime juice and lemon-lime soda. You serve the beverage from the watermelon! It was very cool! We shot fireworks around 10pm, but only shot-off about 6 rounds before we saw the police turn into our housing development. We all ran inside the house and fortunately were not cited for setting off fireworks (still can't believe that people would call the cops for fireworks that were set off on Friday, July 5th at 10pm. ). Our guests stayed until about 1 or so in the morning. I was so tired at the end of the night, I kind of wanted people to go...

Saturday, we slept in a bit and cleaned the house. We then left for Cincy to go to a Reds game. The Reds won! After we attended the game we went to Hoffbrauhaus (yep, we ate a lot of German food this past weekend ). We enjoyed a yummy dinner and then danced on tables. Sadly, the music the band was playing was pretty lame, so we left early (okay it was a bit after midnight) and fell asleep quickly in our hotel room.

DH and I drove back to Dayton Sunday morning and BIL and SIL drove back to Philly, it was a long trip for them! Since the Reds had so many strike outs during the game all attendees got free pizza, so we had pizza for dinner on Sunday.

TTC: So BIL and SIL arrived Wednesday and left Sunday. Of course, I was ovulating during this time. So Wednesday evening, about 10 minutes before BIL and SIL arrived I gave myself the Ovidrel shot. DH and I excused ourselves both Thursday evening and Friday afternoon to BD, saying that DH had to help me with something in our room. Though I likely ovulated Friday morning/afternoon, we BD'd again on Sunday just to make sure. I know I ovulated as I have sore bbs, I'm bloated, and I'm tired. This morning I went to RE's office to have my progesterone level tested. RE's NP said that if AF doesn't arrive by 7/17, then I can test and not before. Hopefully AF will stay far away!

Work: is so busy right now, but going really well! Yesterday I presented to the Chief of Staff about my program, he said it was a great presentation--he didn't say that about the other presentations.

Sorry that I have been away. Have a great week everybody! XO

My allergies are killing me! I had a horrible sinus infection several weeks ago and just finished the antibiotics this weekend and I still don't feel great. Though, I'm happy that we are receiving all of this rain (don't need to water our lawn), it is totally messing with my allergies. Okay, just had to rant for a minute.

TTC: Since the trigger shot, I've been feeling really bloated, sluggish and tired--all very normal. I just want to lay on the couch, watch movies and eat chocolate! I may do this Saturday morning.

So glad that we don't have a really busy weekend. Saturday I may do some cleaning and shopping (and lay on the couch and eat chocolate ) and then I'll go out to dinner with DH. Sunday we are going to a friend's house for dinner, that's about it.

I'll keep everyone posted with any new signs and symptoms, but honestly it will likely end in AF like it always does. Please keep your fingers crossed for me that one day I'll be pregnant!

Today, still feeling like I don't know if it's my allergies or something more, but I feel crappy. I'm also feeling crampy, which I know must be from the hcg shot. I did have some spotting today, but that could be from not feeling well (not going to symptom analyze or anything ) DH mentioned that we might go out with friends for drinks tonight as today if the first Furlough Friday, but I don't feel up to it. I want to eat chocolate and go to bed. I won't, but I want to.

So I really did have a nice and relaxing weekend!!!

Saturday, I cleaned, went shopping--great sales at Victoria Secret , watched movies, took a nap and went out to dinner with DH. We went to Company 7 bbq, a great little firehouse bbq place north of where we live. We enjoyed the beautiful weather by sitting outside on their patio. The food was inexpensive and tasty. We both ate too much! Later that night we did hang out with friends, but only for a few hours, I was just so exhausted. Fortunately, I slept for over 8 hours Saturday night!

Sunday, worked-out, cooked for most of the week, cleaned and then went to a friend's house for dinner. Again, we didn't stay too long, which was nice. When we got home I worked out again, painted my nails and went to bed. I got over 7 hours of sleep last night, so that was good.

TTC: My progesterone level keeps increasing, my bbs are sore and very full. I'm still a bit crampy and very tired. My trigger shot should be out of my system now, as its been 12 days since I took it. I do have pregnancy symptoms, but I think its due to the shot and increased progesterone. I may take a hpt on Wednesday or wait until Friday (if AF doesn't arrive first). Wish me luck!
