I'm glad the IUI went well, sounds like you both did everything you could do. Bless DH for his message - I had similar conversations with my DF about his swimmers

I hope they sort out the furlough days soon, that seems to have been hanging over you for a while now.

YAYYYY!!!!!!! so glad the IUI went well

This furlough stuff is so frustrating! We have been told none this year but we have to move to 8 - 9s schedule (work 9 hours a day and take every other Friday off) and that next year they will re-evaluate the savings from that and we may just have to furlough every other Friday as well??? No clue how this saves money. . . I really hope it all sorts out soon!!!!!

yayy for saving money as well - Bonus!!!

Still keeping everything crossed for you!!!!! I am so very hopeful for you

Hmm, that's interesting Elle. Maybe save on operating costs. This will be week 4 of the furloughs. DH has enjoyed the time off, but it hurts our paycheck. I think I mispoke before. His days could be reduced to 6-8 furlough days this fiscal year, not 5 days ( a reduction of up to 5 days, from 11 down to 6). Oh well, any way to reduce the number of days is great.

I'm very glad to hear that it went well! Are you testing out your trigger? Hope I'm saying that right

Thanks Emily. Nope, never do. I know I'd have a positive pregnancy test, but it would be a false positive--as weird as it sounds, I only want to see a true pregnancy test result. I never tested the trigger shot during IVF either.

Well, Nicholle, I didn't hurt myself, but I've prayed hard for you today. Also, I like to think that my little bean was all crossed for you too...

The whole furlough thing is just annoying. Figure it out and stick to it, am I right?!?! Better yet, find a different way of cutting back that doesn't involve employees having to take days off. There has to be something else!

Anyway, I hope things get sorted out soon...

Good luck with BDing tonight and tomorrow! I'll be thinking of you up until you test...

Thanks ladies! I soooooooooo appreciate the support. I'm trying to be more positive about this whole experience. I was really positive yesterday, today not as much, but I'm also really tired. I just have to remember that we are not out of options, we have a plan, and one day we will have our baby. All I can do now is try to be patient and wait....

Since I took the ovidrel shot I have been feeling lots of cramping/twinges around my ovaries. At first I thought it was the ovaries ripening the follies to ovulate. Well I took ovidrel on Sunday night, so I should have (and think I did) ovulate on Tuesday. I did feel O pains on Tuesday afternoon, so my guess is that I ovulated then. But, I'm still having watery CM. My cervix is medium/low. DH and I bd'd, Friday, Sunday, Tuesday and last night. So we have our bases covered, I just hate to think that I spent money on IUI but still haven't ovulated yet. Also, if I did ovulate, why am I still getting twinges??? Maybe, cysts are forming, maybe I didn't ovulate, maybe my ovaries became enlarged from the multiple follicles? Not sure. I'm also cramping, which happens after O. Idk. As I'm not temping I can't confirm O that way. I really thought MA would eliminate the need to temp, guess not. Oh well, if this cycles fails, I'm on to FET!

Non-ttc: So DH has spent A LOT of time restoring his Jeep, which is finally almost done! I'm happy that he's finished with one of his projects and that we can spend more time together! Today we're going to First Friday, a downtown art gallery, music, vendor street festival. Tomorrow, my friend and I are going to the Mimosa and bloody mary bar restaurant for brunch. DH and I may go to a county fair tomorrow as well and then dinner. Next week I'll be in Cleveland for a work thing, so I'll be away from the board. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and a wonderful week next week.

The ovary twinges could be from cysts or corpus luteum. After this IUI I had some horrible cramping at around 2 or 3 dpIUI and I called the clinic and they said not to worry about it. Hopefully its a good sign

Sounds like you have a fab weekend planned, that mimosa bar again - Lucky girl!

I don't know much about IUI's but I hope these are good signs for you!

Have a great weekend! (And I am totally jealous of your mimosa brunch)

So I weighed myself this morning, as I typically do on Saturdays and I'm down to 137lbs!!! This is the lowest I have been all year!!!!! My lowest prior to this was 137.5 and that was prior to lap surgery and prior to the start of IVF. My lowest weight ever in my weight loss journey was 136 lbs. As I may have mentioned, my first goal is to get down to 134 lbs. I really think that the Insanity workouts have really helped me to lose the weight. I had to stop insanity after IUI, but I will do the 60 day challenge if I'm not pregnant this cycle, before FET. So proud of myself!

YAY! Congrats on the weight loss!!!!

Hopefully though you'll gain back about 15/20lbs and have a bouncing baby to thank for it.. and you can worry about the 60 day challenge in about 13 months
