Cycle # 15, cd 5

I will be taking clomid this cycle. Unsure if my Ob/gyn still wants me to come in for the u/s, as I won't be getting the shot. I left a vm, but haven't heard back. I'll call again later this week if I don't hear back from them.

I finally told my Mom and Dad about our issues with trying. They kind of new that we were heading that direction, but now that we are seeing a RE, I thought they should know. I'm a pretty private person and only a handful of people know that we are trying. Well now, maybe more than a handful. My parents are super supportive (I didn't doubt that they would be). I just wanted a shoulder to cry on yesterday as it hit me that our fertility issues are not an easy fix, like I had hoped.

Work has been very busy. My chief gave me a really large assignment today, so I'm not sure how often I'll be on the boards. I'll still try to be on a couple times a day, but life is getting in the way.

I'm glad your parents were supportive and you have another person to lean if need be. I'm pretty private about TTC as well, but it's nice to have a couple people you can rant/cry to about it.

Sorry about being referred to an RE, but hopefully since he/she will be able to help you out and get you on the path towards your BFP! RE's are experts on this sort of thing - so you are being left in good hands!

Hope work is busy in a good way (i.e., the work days fly by)

Thanks Katie! Yes, going to the RE is a good thing! Hopefully for both of us.

Oh, btw, I finally adjusted FF, so today is cd 5.

I am so glad your parents are being so supportive. I know it's something you don't want to talk about with a lot of people but it is nice to have that support from the people who do know. I think between this board and the one person I could talk to kept me somewhat sane.

I hope that the RE is going to be able to get you in the direction of getting your BFP and then when you least expect it, it will happen.

Nothing new regarding my cycle (except it looks liked I O'd on day 3! ). On 150mg of clomid this cycle, will call ob/gyn today to have her prescribe me prometrium, and my RE appt is 10/31.

Non-related ttc news: Things are finally starting to slow down for us. Except for the holidays, we only have 1 thing planned for each weekend this year and very little traveling, which will be nice. This weekend, besides getting new tires, errands, etc...we are just going to watch our game with the alumni association on Saturday night. I'm very happy that things are finally slowing down; my dog's happier and my house is cleaner!

Holidays are one of the most busiest times of the year for me and DF, even though I love christmas, im always tired and ready for a break once its over so your plans sound great, a nice relaxing holidays with DH

So sorry Jen, that your mum was 'meh' about the news. The ladies on this board aren't 'meh' about it, we are excited that you are trying and supportive through your ttc journey. Know that you can always count on us!

Cycle # 15, cd 7

Just wanted to write that sometimes I really love my job. I'm very fortunate in that I have the privledge to work with, provide care for and support so many Veterans and their caregivers! I'm so happy that I can help others in their time of need.

My DH is coming home today. This is his first week of back to back to back tdys (work business trips). This cycle, may be a bust for me because of this, but more than anything I hate when he's gone weeks at a time (at least he's home for the weekend, so that's good). Hopefully I won't ovulate until day 15 or later this cycle, or we really won't have a shot, not that I'm optimistic, but I hate missing an opportunity! F/X'd!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Cycle # 15, cd 10

Feeling tired and depressed today. I'm hoping that this is a side effect from the clomid.

DH and I have debt that we would like to pay-off, especially since we are moving forward with fertility treatments. So for November we will be creating a pretty tight budget. We're hoping to pay off all of our credit card debt and eventually our student loans. So all of our projects, theatre room, patio and new furniture will be put on hold. Though I'm a bit apprehensive about our new budget, I know we need to do this and that eventually it will be one of the best things for us. It's just going to be an adjustment.

Oh and DH is out of town again this week. He leavestoday and returns on Friday. I hope that I don't ovulate until at least Saturday!

Here are some s.

I'm sorry you're going to have a tight budget in November, but imagine how great you'll feel when you see things get paid off! That always feels so good (I think so at least).

Fingers crossed your body cooperates with DH's work schedule!

Me and Rob did the same with the tight-budget when we were saving a deposit to buy our house, it was really hard but well worth it in the end! i'm sure you'll feel the same once the things you want to pay off are gone

I hope your low mood was just the clomid, here is a anyways...

We're pretty much cycle budies this month ... hopefully we'll O at the best times and these will be our cycles for our BFP's!!!

We had 6 months where we were paying 2 mortgages (through no fault of our own - long story involving city buyouts...), so I feel your pain! Buuut, once things got sorted out, we were able to pay off almost all our debt and it was awesome! Then we went and bought a new truck and added debt again, but I digress The point is, tight budgets suck, but paying off debt feels great!

F/x'd that O holds off for you!

I agree, budgets suck but once all that debt is paid off it will be nice.

I hope your body doesn't O until your DH is home and I hope you are feeling better.

Well, I can tell that my body is gearing up to O. I have some increased energy and my libido is starting to ramp up. My CM is almost watery, it probably will be later today and my CP is medium today. All of this is good, because I won't likely O until at least Saturday or later. DH doesn't return from his work trip until tomorrow, so it looks like we might have a shot. Honestly, I really do think that I need additonal MA to get my BFP, but I would hate it if I O'd and we didn't get some good BDing in before O date, especially since I'm on clomid and taking progesterone.

Non-ttc news: Very excited to watch the PSU vs. OSU game this weekend! Though I wish I was in happy valley watching the game! I will still be wearing my white though! Let's GO P-S-U!

So, I'm worried that I may have already O'd today. Yesterday I had increased energy, increased sex drive and some almost watery CM. This morning I felt an O pain on my left side. Also, since possible O, I feel warmer and my appetite has increased. DH has been gone since Monday morning. He comes home around 5:30pm, where we'll definitely have some relations --that word always makes me laugh. I know there is still a small shot if I ovulated around 10:30am and we BD around 5:30pm, it could still work, but I'm still . I'm hoping that I am wrong and that I didn't ovulate. Usually, I have greater CM and more days of increased sex drive and energy. I know the higher amount of clomid the less CM. Ugh....my body does not want to cooperate. Well, at least I see the RE next week and then onto IUI!

Ok, so I haven't O'd yet, which is good as DH is home now. Hopefully I'll ovulate late tomorrow or Monday. Again, still not getting my hopes up....We see RE on Wednesday! Happy Halloween to us!

Bummed that PSU lost today, not that it was unexpected, but it would have been nice to win. It's rough living in Buckeye Country when you are PSU alumni and fan!
