Wow DH really had a bad time after the surgery. Poor thing. I dont get on well with morphine and it makes me really sick. Docs make sure they give me another medication to stop me from being sick. I'm glad to hear he's doing better. Its such a man thing thats he's stopped his pain meds even though he's in pain. Even if he takes some late evening, i'm sure they'd help him get some sleep. He needs sleep to help his body recover & heal.

Thats so exciting about ttc! I really hope your able to reschedule your appt so you can catch this months window. You may need some of those 'alternative' BDing instructions after all

Thanks ladies!!! I am so so so so nervous about what she will say it is making waiting on my beta results 100x as nerve racking as normal. . . I just keep thinking what if we can start THIS CYCLE!

Doesn't help that AF is keeping me super on edge as well with major cramps and severe mood swings. . . So far today I almost screamed at an annoying coworker, yelled at most cars around me, and was super angry at the very slow people at LabCorp who stabbed me 3 times trying to draw blood in both arms. . . I need to calm myself down haha

I love and hate that smiley face in equal measures! I would suggest ice cream but thats bad diet food, so how about some frozen yoghurt instead? I hope the rest of your day goes smoothly!

I am feeling pretty disappointing right now. I have been looking forward to today ALL week just knowing I should be getting the answer from my doctor about if we can do the beta early this month or not. So I called in - was on hold for 10 minutes with my heart racing and me getting all excited then the nurse came back and said "Oh I forgot to ask her and she is out today. Call back on Tuesday but my guess is the wait is 3 months."

UGHHHHHHHHHHHH she forgot? Doesn't she know I am basically holding my breath and dying to know???

Oh well. . . Tuesday it is. What is a few more days

I guess I should share the good news too. Month 2 beta results are in at <1 so another month confirmed negative.

From all my research there has never been a case after a partial molar pregnancy where the betas went back up after a full month of zeros and the 3 month wait is just for extra caution. (The reason for the wait is the cells left over from this type of pregnancy can cause cancer.) I want to do what is right and I don't want to take risks with my health but I am so tired of my life feeling like it is just on hold. So many days it will hit me and I just can't breathe. Please oh please let me at least try again. Pretty please. . .

I'm so sorry hun, I know how much you were looking forward to hearing back from the doctor about your appointment. Where's that nurse who forgot..

You've done so well waiting this long, take your time making sure DHs shoulder is all good and healed for some energetic BDing!

I did get wonderful news today!! I am beyond excited and my doctor spoke with me herself which I always love!!! She said we are good to go on the early beta and I am beyond excited. I finally feel more normal like I am not completely broken.

Hopeful timeline:
"3 month beta" on Monday June 3rd
Results by Thursday June 6th
O should be sometime between Thursday - Tuesday (6th - 11th)

I know that is really cutting it close but we should at least have a shot this cycle!! As long as O doesn't shock me and just come crazy early for me. . . which is always a possibility

Set up my beta appointment for first thing Monday - I usually go around noon on Tuesday and get my results Friday morning. So I am hoping by going a day early and in the morning maybe I will get my results Wednesday night?? Really hoping because I would like to be able to BD a couple times before O.

I will be starting my OPKs today which is pretty early for me but I just cant help it (I am CD 12 and usually O around CD 21)

DH is really excited and is mentioning it constantly One week left!!!!!!

Thanks Jen!!! DH has been doing well! He finally sleeps in bed again which is exciting because I was lonely with him sleeping on the couch (so he could sleep sitting up). He is still in a good bit of pain and is VERY frustrated at being one armed but he is doing great in his physical therapy and the doctors expect him to make a full recovery. We are 2 weeks through the 8 weeks where he has to keep the arm immobile and in a sling.

I hope his shoulder continues to get better. When DH broke a bone in his hand, he ended up sleeping on the couch for a few days so he could wedge his arm in the back of the couch cushions

Yay for getting to BD soon!!
