DH is heading in again this week to the doc. The doctor told him when he called last week to just take the pain meds to sleep but he doesn't want to be on the Vicodin anymore. So hopefully they can work something out. His physical therapy is going well though and he is allowed to take his sling off around the house no (not during any physical activity though ) But we are almost 6 weeks post op. . . I am ready for him to get to feeling better!

6 weeks, that is a long time. I hope DH can find meds that help him sleep. I'm not a fan of vicodin either. Have fun BDing!

CD 9 - had some CM last night which I feel like has us headed in the right direction since I didn't have much last cycle at all. I am hoping to add something to the regiment this cycle to see if I can increase it more. AF is officially gone and we are hoping to BD lots more this cycle since DH is finally feeling better

I am really hoping the stresses going on right now dont affect our TTC this cycle but I am a little worried they will (bad cycle. . . adds more stress. . . ) But I made a silly silly small mistake in my job and forgot to sign one sheet of paper in the thick booklet I sent out and it means I basically failed at my job Hard to go into more detail but I have to tell my boss today and I have been so anxious about it.

Also dropped Thor off to be neutered this morning. He was very vocal about his missed breakfast and lack of water just too make me feel extra bad I know they do this every day but I am nervous haha first time pet owner stuff I guess.

I'm sure that kitty will be ok! I know I was super nervous for my Sasha too, but I had extra incentive cause I couldn't handle her going into heat every few weeks and meowing non-stop.

I will say a prayer for you that telling your boss goes well and that things can be fixed easily and you can stop stressing!

They had you withhold water? Nola only has to have no food, but is to have water up until she leaves for the vet (and will have water available until surgery)

They just said take the water away at 7:00AM and I took him in at 7:30 he was really not pleased with me. . . I questioned them on it and they said it helps them handle the anesthesia better? Who knows haha too late now either way. Still waiting on the "he is in recovery call" I expected it by now. . .

Yay...I'm coming too How great would it be if we all did go at the same time!

I'm sure Thor has done fine with surgery, I know it can be scary though. I was a nervous wreck when we had meg spayed. If I recall, she had to go without water & food the morning of her surgery too, I guess its kinda like how us humans have to fast too.

Sorry about work

lol to take away Nola's water I'd have to lock her in another room.. I'm not moving that giant water fountain thing!

And yes, we are all gonna go take over March!!!!! I've had edd's in March twice before... I want a freaking March Baby!

I hope you hear about Thor soon. Nola's getting her snip done on the 10th if she doesn't go in heat... I'm not paying more, I'll just post pone it lol.

Thor's surgery went well he was a mess last night still all drugged up and didn't know what to do with himself . . . kept insisting he eat and drink with at least one paw straight in the air so he would tip over every time he tried We had a few minor incidents but he is doing well.

In TTC news. . . I had watery CM last night which is 10 days earlier than I have ever had it before so maybe I will take an OPK today just in case? But I am thinking it is just one of those random things my body does to confuse me. Other than that just really really trying to keep up with my water intake so I can have some better CM this cycle.

Glad thor was ok, the worst thing we dealt with after Meg's op was trying to keep her from jumping up on the sofa cos we didnt want her to pull her stitches!

Yeah our big struggle was we werent supposed to let him jump up on anything. . .Which if you have ever had a cat or even seen a cat you can imagine how hard that is. Sooooo yall will certainly make fun of this but he really really wanted to be in the sink it is one of his "comfort" places. Soooo I put him up there and sat next to my drugged up kitty in the sink for a few hours watching tv on the ipad and when he was ready to get down I picked him up and put him down then he slept on the floor.

I am officially crazy. . . But we made it through

Here is my drugged up Thor - he really is wayy to big for that sink.

rotflmao! Is the sink tiny or is he just that massive?! The vet told me if Nola continues on her growth path she will be 15-18lbs

omg his eyes have me cracking up! I really don't know what I'm going to do about Nola after hers... I know she's coming down to the hotel with us.. but the beds here are even taller than at home.. and just how do you pick up a female kitty with out hurting their owie?

yay for watery cm. what did the opk end up saying?!

A little bit of both it is one of our smaller sinks but he is getting so big. He looks like a slinky really long and skinny. I can't believe Nola will be so big!!!!! That is the size of a girl Maine Coon!

I carried Thor like a baby so I wouldnt hurt him. Scooped him up underneath his back and cradled him so maybe that would work for her too?

There has been very very little CM but what there has been has been watery or EWCM. . . OPK was negative but I am going to test again today at lunch around noon.
