Finally got around to uploading the pic from the U/S we have had lots of internet issues at home recently. . . So here is the first picture of our little sea monkey!

Symptoms have been getting a lot worse the nausea and exhaustion are pretty bad and my stomach is all kinds of messed up. So it is hard to get through a day of work and most of my coworkers have figured it out. . . but to be honest I don't care much anymore it is all about survival mode This little bean can make me as sick as they want as long as they hang in there!!!!

Up until today the nausea and fatigue have been really rough. But now I am all concerned because it has let up a little There really is no winning with me I am just so concerned that something has gone wrong and that is why the symptoms have gone down today - I am still nauseous just not near as bad as the previous 7 days. . . . I keep wanting to call my doc but I know I have an U/S on Monday and I can wait that long. . .

Other news - we are looking at new houses. We always planned to move about now but for some reason it feels a little sad. This was our first house and DH and I completely remodeled it together but we know it is no place to raise a family. We are planning to put our house on the market in the next couple weeks. Hopefully we find a new place soon!

Hopefully the reduction in nausea is only temporary.

I can understand about leaving your house. I hope it sells quickly and that you all find and even BETTER house to buy

7 weeks already, yay!

Just based on experience, the mildness of your nausea is totally normal. I noticed it occasionally, too -- one day because I ate more protein that day that staved off the nausea, another day because i was more rested, or one day, there seemed to be no correlation. Just enjoy the reprieve -- I found that for sure each time after I had a day/half a day of no/lessened nausea, it would start up with a vengeance!

I totally get leaving your first home -- it is definitely bittersweet! But I hope the process isn't too stressful for you. Think of it this way: this next home is a FAMILY home, not just a husband and wife home <3

Try not to worry too much, Elle. I'm sure everything will be eased when you go to your appointment on Monday.

Congrats on starting to look at new houses! Thats very exciting, but sad at the same time. DH and I are in the same boat..... we love our home but its really not big enough for a family. A baby would probably be fine, but by the time they got to be a toddler I'd be cringing. We have a lot of stairs plus a loft...just not kid friendly! Best of luck to you with that process.

She said it was the yolk sac. I thought it looked strange so we asked her to walk us through it all and she said everything was normal but it looks different than my previous 2 at 6 weeks.

lol I meant the little black dot over on the left, not in with the sea monkey (btw.. my husband is very upset you thought of that first and would like you to know he wants to be a copy cat when we get knocked up. LOL)

hmmm I see that now I have been way too focused on seamonkey to even look that far left I knew right after I wrote that that you knew where the yolk sac was lol. I will ask on Monday!

DH actually came up with it It is very fun to say so if you guys like it I say the more seamonkeys the better

How are you feeling today hun? I think its normal for the nausea to come and go - you should check put my early pregnancy journal entries, I too panicked about the lack of nausea and here I am some 30 weeks later still needing anti-sickness medication lol!

It's bitter sweet looking for a new house, a sign of a new chapter for ypu and DH. I hope all goes well at your scan tomorrow, make sure to keep us posted!

Thanks Jen I have been feeling really terrible so that has made me feel a little better I spent all weekend pretty much sleeping and throwing up. There was a while where I couldn't keep water down but thank goodness I can now.

Sam - My next U/S is today!! I am actually heading out in about 30 minutes so I will be back later to let you all know how it goes! I am so beyond nervous. . . I think I will be back at work around 2 PM central time if all goes well.

I am back!!!! The appointment went really well We got to chat with the doctor for a good while and ask all of our questions. Then she did the U/S and we got to see our little seamonkey and hear the heartbeat this time too!! Baby is dating 8W2D and I am 8W today so the doc said that is great. All the nausea in the world was worth seeing our little one (that I am convinced is a girl).

Here is our seamonkey at 8 weeks

I am starting to feel a little more relieved and actually starting to let myself plan this pregnancy out. We have another U/S in 2 weeks with all the blood work then the NT scan 2 weeks after that.
