You are an awesome friend Elle! No matter how much it would hurt my heart, I would totally do what you did! I tend to be a baby hog.. have yet to find a mom who really minds an extra set of arms.. even if it's just long enough for a shower

Thanks so much ladies this friend was such an amazing help to me all through my loss and helping me cope with things all along the way. I really wanted to be there for her when she needed me too and like Ashley said all the free baby snuggles really sweetened the deal

This weekend I actually implemented my get healthy in prep for TTC plan.

I went for long walks on Friday and Saturday (about an hour each) and then on Sunday I switched it up to running. My only goal was to finish 2 miles in under 20 minutes and I ended up running the 2 miles in 19:10 so I was really pleased!! I am really hoping to keep it up!!

I also have been doing well on eating healthy. It is easier when it is all we have around the house. . . I have added lots of spinach and green beans to my diet and fruits and veggies and cooking at home. I can already feel the difference

Really hoping I can keep it up!!!!! Only 2 more months to go!

Sounds like you had a great weekend. Your healthy for ttc plan seems to be going well too, I always find its easier to stick to healthy eating if I have good food at home. Its when the cupboards or fridge is empty that I end up eating rubbish! The two months will fly by!

Finally CD1 is here!!!!! After a 55 day cycle - it has been a strange AF so far though. I saw the temp dip this morning and have had the lightest of bleeding nothing serious. Usually AF starts off heavy for me.

I am also worried that this may mean I only had a 10 day LP. I am wondering if I should call and discuss this with my doctor. I know we aren't even allowed to TTC yet I am just so nervous I wont be able to when I am finally cleared. . .

I guess I also need to keep in mind that my D&C was 95 days ago and my HCG just hit 0 21 days ago. So maybe my body just needs another cycle to get back to normal. I am really hoping I have a normal cycle this next round. . .

it's not uncommon for it to take a bit for an LP to return to normal length after pregnancy of any sort. I'd give it one more cycle, then bring it up with the doctor before you can TTC

Thanks ladies

Ashley - thanks for sharing that! I was wondering if that was normal to be a little shorter the first few cycles after. I feel a little better about that then.

AF is officially here in full force. Guess my body was just easing me into it this time. I am having all out cramps and moodiness now. But I am still glad to be on to a new cycle.

Healthy initiative update: Have been able to go for walks the past 2 days and have been sticking to the healthy eating plan!! So I feel like I am finally on the right track! I am feeling healthier and I just ordered a new water bottle (Thanks Ashley!!!) so I can add the water to my new routine as well. Hoping to get my second jog in of the week today. . . I am still pretty sore from the last one. . .

I'm sorry that AF is here in full force. I hope that the cramps and moodiness go away soon. I'm moody even without AF. *lol*

Good for you for ordering a new water bottle! Please let us know how you like it. I could probably use a new one, too.

Well a recent post on the board caused me to go pull out some old documents and I realized we passed the one year mark. In April 2012 we decided we were ready to have a baby. . . I foolishly thought we could begin right away no problem and we ended up not being able to actively TTC until August (my cycle didn't come back for a long time after going off BCP etc). . . but anyway it is weird how long it feels like everything is taking along the way but when I realize it has already been a year somehow time seems to have gone by so fast.

Every day until we can TTC feels like an eternity but somehow we have already made it through 1 of the 3 months we have to wait to TTC again. And at the same time I cant believe my D&C was over 3 months ago! Sorry this really turned into a weird vent about time. . . but I am feeling so strange about it all right now.

I keep thinking of this quote from one of my favorite books

"Time is an illusion, lunch time doubly so" - Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams

Hey Elle,

So glad that the healthy initiative is working for you! I'm going to stalk your journal to get some motivation!

So sorry about hitting the one year mark. It hit me kind of hard as well. I'm sure when I hit the two year mark this summer, it will be worse. Fortunately, you have less than 2 months until you can start trying again!

BTW, our furlough days are down to 7 days this summer. Hopefully it will go to zero soon!

Nicholle - That is so great about the furlough days!!!!! Ours are set up to be other Friday this summer so not near as bad as we thought and they are considering moving us to work 40 hours still but do the "4 9s" schedule so they can close the buildings and save on electricity but we will still get paid!!!!! They are still working out the details on that. . .

Thanks ladies I am pretty excited that today is my one month beta check already. 1 month down and 2 to go is really not so bad. All I really ask is that my numbers stay zero and my doctor has been really optimistic about that.
