I'm so behind on reading the board and everyone's journals. I'll catch up this weekend.

In the meantime I am still swimming so hard to make it through these last days of the semester. I have a project and report due in the evening and I'm not done with it. I tried to lay down to sleep for two hours before I have to go to Declan's house to take him to school but I can't sleep. Ugh.

I guess I'll ponder how to interpret the results of my regression model.

Well finals went well and I survived! Grades were released yesterday and I made two A's and one A -. Boo for the A - because it was in my biostats class. Oh well. It's better than the two A's and one B from last semester. My grades really aren't that easy considering how many breakdowns I had this semester where I sat in the kitchen crying to my husband that I just wanted to back down on the load. It was a tough semester. :/

I've been quiet because I've been doing a lot of research work and babysitting. Unfortunately my grandfather who is 90-something years old has been having a series of heart complications. Yesterday the doctors sent him back to his home with hospice three times a day. To be blunt, we're waiting for him to die. I'm heartbroken for my grandmother, with whom I share a special bond. She and my grandfather have been married for over 60 years. How do you cope with a loss like that?

Clomid wasn't bad. I'm more emotional now that I'm NOT taking the Clomid than I was when I was on it. No signs of O yet. I need to call the doc's office to find out when I'm supposed to take the Progesterone again. I think I'm supposed to start around CD 14. It's not progesterone to support a pregnancy it's to end the cycle so I don't do the 40-50 day long thing. I know some women reported that they didn't O until CD 20-25. Should I wait that long? What are you all's thoughts?

I'm so positive and hopeful for the board this month. We've had lots of new members and just some really good news all around. Bring on the good things. I'm ready.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather.. that's so hard. Many thoughts and prayers for your family.

On the Clomid front, I became an emotional wreck the week after I took the pills. Also, didn't O both times until day 18 the first time and 19/20 the second time, so you might want to talk to your doc, but I think holding off on the progesterone until you can confirm ovulation (or in the event that you go long enough that you think you aren't going to ovulate.) If you start taking the progesterone too early couldn't it stop you from O'ing?

So yeah.... just my two cents but I am by no means an authority on this subject.

I am so sorry about your grandfather - that is so very hard especially for your grandmother. My family had a very similar experience 2 years ago. It was extremely hard on my grandmother but she is doing well now.

I went through my past few charts - I have Od on CD 18, 27, 21 so if I took progesterone to start AF on CD 14 that means I would never have Od right? I feel like CD14 may be early. But I am not sure I actually understand how all that works. Sorry if that isnt helpful at all.

This morning's OPK. I haven't been testing bc of all the working I did this weekend.

I drove up to Nashville yesterday afternoon. I stayed the night at my cousin's house. My grandfather is very weak. Apparently my grandmother is doing most of his care. It's going to take a toll on her but this is how she and my grandfather want it. My grandfather was up in a wheelchair yesterday. They have him on a lot of pain meds to keep him comfortable. I'll be heading back to their condo for the day in a bit. Then I will drive home.

I hope I haven't missed my O. Fingers crossed that if we BD tonight and the next couple of days then we will catch that egg.

I'm so sorry to hear about your grandfather. Sending T&P to your family, especially your grandma. She must be a strong-willed person to want to be doing all the care for your grandpa right now.

As for your OPK... I bet a good BD tonight won't hurt anything! I hope that you get a positive OPK today or tomorrow and have more great BD chances!!!

You and your family are still in my thoughts. I was very close to my grandfather, and I still miss him very much. I know this is a difficult time.

Warning: pity party ahead.

I'm just feeling yucky tonight. My boss at the gym, who I REALLY admire, did my quality assessment today. Basically she graded my class. I totally blew the choreography multiple times. And that's SO not me! If there is one thing that i know it is the choreography. I always look over the notes before class and am prepared. But I was so nervous with her being there that I just...couldn't remember the cues. I normally don't get pysched out over those things. Let's put it this way: I left my keys in the bathroom before class, that's how preoccupied I was about the assessment.

I'm not ovulating. I'm emotional just from that. I've come to the conclusion that I will give my body until CD 20 before starting my progesterone. Then I'll call my OB's office to schedule a CD3 bloodwork up and then go in for the ultrasound to make sure no cysts on my ovaries from the clomid. I'm trying reeeeeeeeally hard to be positive, but gosh my body SUCKS.

With all of the babysitting and driving to see family I didn't do my GRA work that I promised I would. I hate this. These weeks were supposed to be my break but it's not. I'm busy with research, freaking babysitting, and family health problems. Um... how am I supposed to stay sane?

I'm being whiney. I hope this passes. I can't even think clearly enough to remember any skills that I could be applying in this situation (therapy skills). Radical acceptance? F*ck that. :hide:

Yes I think she will up the dose. I'm so confused. No one else in my family had any issue getting pregnant. So where is this coming from? And why?
