Stop. Breathe. Ugh....

I can't believe it's only Tuesday. This week is so busy -- subbing three days, trying to plan the garden and get ready for company. Plus bringing home new baby chicks. Plus being bombarded with after school days that I wasn't planning on. I just feel like there's no time for anything.

I'm supposed to O this week, but what's the point when I know DH & I will be lucky to BD once... Plus my whole struggle with urine concentration, I'm just going to have to find a way to test at school, but ew. There are teenagers there and they should not be exposed to OPK's at this stage in their lives!!!

I did yoga yesterday, did not walk today (we bought chicks instead...) but will try to do something physical before bed.

I haven't been sleeping well, and I don't know why.

SO MUCH NEGATIVITY!!!! Yikes. Someone slap me! Ok. Here are three positive things that have happened this week/last weekend: 1) I'm so proud of myself for drinking so much water! I hope I can keep it up! 2) Our new chicks are precious! (See FB later for pics...) 3) I got to sub for the pre-schoolers on Monday. They were cute and cuddly and it made for a fun day!

Whew. Now off to clean the kitchen and get my lunch ready for tomorrow -- an amazing crunch asian cabbage salad (I'll share the recipe when I find time to breathe!)

I'm sorry that things are so busy. I know that some people thrive on business. My DH does. But I just get stressed out when things are really busy.

I hope that you and your DH are able to fit in some BD fun this week when you O. It might be a good stress reliever?

5 DPO. Haven't even thought much about it... so that's nice! It definitely makes the 2WW go faster!!!

We have 3 weeks until summer vacation, and I'm SO excited! I should be O'ing the weekend that school gets out, so DH & I are going to plan a weekend get away. Hole ourselves up in a hotel suite and get our BD on. I think because we have this plan, I'm ok feeling that in 7-ish days, AF will be here -- no BFP this month. I hope this peaceful feeling stays with me.

DH has his physical in the next month and will ask about what he can do in our journey. He's been on anti-anxiety meds and we didn't know until recently that it can cause low sperm count.

Then in May, I'll go in for my pap and start talking about the fact that we are actively TTC. We're approaching 6 months being off of BC and I want to know what to watch for in the next 6 months in case we need to seek medical assistance, ya know?

In weight loss news... I've been looking into doing weight watchers online. Anyone have any experience/heard anything?
Also, trying the brown seaweed has kind of been a bust. It was supposed to boost metabolism, which I think it totally did. The problem was that since the topamax took away my appetite, the brown seaweed seems to have brought it back. I have about a weeks supply left, so I'll keep taking it, and then stop.

I've been reflecting the last two days on how lucky I am to be part of this community. I've been selfish and haven't sat down to adequately reply and show everyone how much I care. So I'll try to be better at that... and until then... I CARE ABOUT YOU ALL!!!! <3

We care about you, too! I did Weight Watchers in college, but it wasn't on-line. I ended up more or less getting kicked out of it because I had an eating disorder, but it was a very good program, and it works really well for people. I think trying it on-line would be good if you are interested in it.

Your vacation sounds great! Have a fun time bding!

I'm currently doing ww online. I like it. I was going to meetings until IVF, then switched to the online as it was cheaper and easier. I've lost 45 lbs with ww. I think you should go for it. Let me know if you have any questions.

I have the ww program on my computer... I just hate tallying up the dang points! I've seriously been tempted to stock the house with nothing but their packaged meals... but I like to cook....

I didn't do brown seaweed, i did the Bladderwrack. I dropped major fat in a short period of time. But it's not compatable with my thyroid meds so I had to stop it.

Temp was super down today. I feel that I'm constantly up and down, up and down. Am I ever going to find a pattern??? Should I get a new thermometer? Do any of you temp vaginally after finding that orally temping was giving weirdo answers?

Chicks?! What kind of chicks did you get?

We have 25 barred rocks coming on May 21. So DH and I are getting to building our coop shortly. My dad chose them for me because he said they are a good dual purpose bird and can handle a Canadian winter. I'm going to keep five for eggs and we will put the rest in the freezer.

Please don't ever feel embarrassed to post here. ESP with weight loss. I need to lose 15# and I can't get it done, so I really admire people who take the initiative to make things happen! Keep it up, and always know you have support here!

regarding the charting, temping vaginally could help straighten things out if you happen to be a mouth breather during the night. You gotta stick with it if you swap tho as the temps will be quite different.

I did ww meetings between July and December and lost just over 30lbs. I have picked it back up again this past month although not going to meetings, just keeping a tally in one of the ww journals I have. I am still weighing myself at the same time each week though, to keep the consistency. I would definately recommend it as a programme, it made things pretty simple for me, who had never really done a 'diet' before and it worked!

Your chart looks really good. I don't temp so I'm not good at answering thermometer related questions.

Yeah! We have 4 now! 2 bantams (one hen, one rooster -- pretty sure!), 1 Rhode Island Red, and 1 Australorp.

I'll post pics tomorrow if I get a chance! If not, you can add me on FB and I have them there... just send me a PM.
