Another BFN today, at 10 DPO. DH had his doctor's appointment this morning. It was just a physical, but he got an actual referral for an SA... unfortunately it was for the same fertility clinic that jerked us around last time, but I guess there just isn't anywhere else that will do it in the area. Grrrr......

Also he got coffee at my favorite coffee place while he was in town and then told me about it just to make me jealous.

Going to try to leave early for work tonight so I can get some good coffee too.... gonna be a long night, cuz I want to go to bed and then pee on something else in the morning.

Thanks for checkin' up on me, Elle. I will be testing again when I wake up, (I have to go to bed first though!) but not expecting much at this point. I don't know what's going on with my temperatures, but I am reveling in the fact that I am technically 3 days late based on my average cycle.. so even if I get a BFN I will count this as progress, because a 12 day LP is pretty respectable. Either the B vitamins helped or I ovulated again a few days after I had the first positive OPK, but I have no way of knowing because I stopped testing on OPKs whenever I got the first positive.

12 day LP is very nice!! That is definitely progress.

Looking at your temps combined with that + OPK, I think you did O on the day FF says. Your temp is still above the cover line this morning

I am awaiting todays update

Still nothing on either front. BFN, and no sign of AF...

Sorry about AF, sounds like you ended up with a pretty decent LP though? Which is great news!

Thanks, I don't really know what this cycle will have in store... DH's SA is on Wednesday. I am not taking the Clomid this cycle, I am supposed to have another appointment with my OB/GYN after AF is gone. Don't know what she has in mind from this point going forward... I am going to ask about an HSG, bloodwork, etc. but I dunno what insurance will cover, my current job is somewhat lacking in the pay department, and coming out of pocket for fertility treatment will hurt.... so hoping we can keep the diagnostic stuff under the category of "pelvic health" for as long as possible. I wonder if the script for Clomid will tip off the insurance company... o.O

Sigh. As if infertility isn't emotionally damaging, it sure can do a number on your pocketbook and back account. I'm sorry about AF. Hang in there.

*mini rant*

It's Mother's day and I am bracing myself for the crap that is going to be flooding my facebook feed and making me depressed.

Here's a beaut, it was a photo with a quote embedded in it, I will just share the quote:

"I won't apologize for 'losing myself' to motherhood. On the contrary, it is with motherhood that I have found myself."

*gag*

And the day is young so there is bound to be more, I should just stay away from the computer and not read anything on FB at all tomorrow... because it just makes me want to break things.

This is 10 times worse than the whole April 1st fake pregnancy thing because it just feels like people are flaunting something that I can't have.

A made a remark about yard work cutting into some of my other plans to one of my friends and she was like "Oh, try gardening with a 2 year old." She says crap like this in response to every possible topic. Like, do you know you are just throwing this in my face? As if every challenge or joy in my life is insignificant compared being a mother. Smug... friggin... errrrggggghh! I am going to lose friends over this whole thing, I swear.

*rant*

I've been avoiding my FB news feed for these exact reasons. I just checked my own page and wrote a generic post that said "Happy Mother's Day to all of the mommies out there!" so that I wouldn't seem bitter not being a mom myself, and logged out.

DH's SA was today. I didn't go with him because of the fiasco that went down last time. He said it went fine... but we continue to be unimpressed with the way this dumb lab and their stoopid clinic do business. DH left them his work phone # and said he could be reached there during the day, do not call his cell phone because he won't get it but they make you provide 2 phone numbers. Well guess what? Yeah, they called his cell phone this afternoon about preliminary results. He didn't get the voice mail until 6:00 which was long after they closed. So, we won't find out anything until tomorrow morning.

Ugh... if we end up going through any other types fertility treatment or IVF or anything like that in the future, we're going to have to go out of state because these people are intolerable and not to be trusted with SIMPLE requests.

Anyhow, we'll know SOMETHING tomorrow about his swimmers (today actually because it is 3 AM and I am up obsessing). *Nervous*
