Well, I don’t know why it is so hard for me to write on these message boards. (My first time on any sort of message board...) Since I’ve been blogging forever, I thought this would be a breeze, but it isn’t. I think it is because it is more out in the open and I’m not use to telling people who aren’t close friends or family anything about myself.
My name is Aundraya, and my husband and I’ve been married since May 2006. We have had baby fever for a long time. We started dating in high school, but we were young so we wanted to wait till we both graduated from college to get married. After doing a long distance relationship on and off for four years, we decided we should wait at least year before TTC. (That way we could have time to get use to being married, living in a new state, new jobs, and being away from our family and friends.)
Although we are both excited and nervous to get pregnant, I am not going to do any sort of fertility charting or anything. (I applaude those who do…) I just know if I have to work at it, it will take all the fun out of TTC for me… Maybe I’m naïve, but I think TTC should be fun. I do not want it to become a chore.
