This is my pic ...

As you can see have added a reflection ... whats wrong with the reflection and what can I do to make it better ??

Its cut off straight as thats the edge of the picture

Just a suggestion and I'm no reflections expert but try using an eraser at maybe 50% opacity(play with different opacities to see what looks right) along that straight cut edge and maybe round the corners with the eraser as well.

you're going to need to skew it a little. It needs to be smaller and closer to him. Then you can play around with the soft brush to clean it up a bit.

actually, leave it exactly as is, only thing you need to do.. is have his ELBOWS connect.. right now you have the reflection's elbows underneath his elbows, make sense??

you dont need to skew it thats mainly only with shadows..

take a soft eraser at about 150-200px and just erase slowly the very bottom of the reflected, where his head would be

I think it usually makes it look more like a flat surface once it's skewed, but that's my person preference.

well you COULD, but again thats more shadow..

if you go and step on an icy frozen lake.. and you look down, your reflection will be straight not matter what direction your facing.

same as looking into water.. your reflection will always be straight

but with a siggy, it isn't the person in the siggy looking at their reflection, it's everyone else looking at someone and their reflection. I was just saying that's how I like to do it. I think it gives more of a solid surface feel at the base of the siggy.
