I sorta did some stuff on my own and figured out a way I LOVE!!! Do you think its a tad overboard?? Honestly? I like the more glassy look vs. the over-sharpened way.

before

after

It's not "bad" but its a little overboard for my taste. His eyes are already so blue in that pic especially that it probably didn't need more than sharpening and a little glossy look to it.

hope you don't mind, i played with it a little lol

Its a little overboard for what I usually do, but thats what I was aiming for. Something glassy. Believe it or not, its only sharpened once. The rest of it is the saturation and all the other techniques. I know how to chill it out a bit, but I wanted to start bright and lower as needed. I thought it was a little over the top, but I like seeing how it looks and what I can do.

Yours looks good Bonnie, but his skin has a very faint orangy tint, or it could just be my computer.

Haha, its so hard to pass up editing bright eyes. Gavins are dark, so editing them really doesn't make much difference.

ummmm...
I adjust the highlights and shadows levels, used the color variations to balance the color on shadows and highlights (including amount) then I unsharp and adjust sharpness. I create copies of the entire eyes to a new layer and dodge once, adjust sharpness, then play with color variations to make the whites of the eyes whiter and the irises more to what they should be, then up the saturation. Last I merge it all duplicate high pass the duplicate at about 10-20 change to soft light lower opacity if needed (on your's to 50) then merge it all to one.

I think that's all I did. I knew I should've wrote it down.

I like Heather's second version. But actually I think I just like Logan's eyes in general. He's too precious.

I am more of a fan of the second version. I like shiny too but sometimes if it is too much it scares me I need to work on this actually maybe I will play with that pic too.
