So Grace Rayel was born February 19th, 2010 at 8:57am weighing 7lbs. 5oz. & 19 inches long... We new that even before she was born; that she was going to have a cleft lip (split on both sides of the center) & was just waiting to find out if she had a cleft palette which she does... Grace spent a good part of the day in the NICU because of breathing problems when she was laying on her back... But just got out at 4:30pm...
My SIL, Nikki, did have a c-section only because they had to induce her (due Feb 14th)... Come to find out it was a good thing she didn't attempt a VBAC; cause her uterus could have ruptured it was so thin in a few spots... They found out that they could only have 1 more child if they wanted to anymore & Nikki would be at great risk... But they only wanted 1 more in about 4 yeaars... Big brothers Kenneth & Xavier haven't got the chance to meet Grace yet either... I went ahead & added a picture she is such the little fighter...
