Yes! Gimp regularly crashed on me on the desktop and I eventually got into the hang of saving siggies every 15 minutes or so. Rarely crashes on the laptop, but still have the habit of saving every 15-20 minutes.

Yep Yep!!! That's happened a handful of time & I never even realised that I didn't save until it was too late... I get so rapped up in making the siggy I forget to stop & take the time to save...
