What do you do when you're in a siggy rut? I tried to make some new templates this weekend and it took me forever just to come up with the one I made and it wasn't even one I was really happy with.

What gets your mojo flowing? Maybe I should have made some margaritas this weekend. LOL.

I usually try to buy a new kit, or download a freebie and just try to make something for myself, but I've been in a rut for months, and I have a couple new kits I haven't even touched yet!

I haven't made in like 6 months but for pages I go through kids books for inspiration. Sometimes it is a one liner in there that will trigger an idea, or I listen to the kids playing and that triggers my imagination. If that doesn't work, I do a free tutorial to learn something in PS and then try to put it to use in a page/siggy. Oh and sometimes just going to a free font site and loading up can jump start some creativity for me.

Mojo funks are annoying for real. I hate them and if all else fails I just scrap through it and forge on.

new kits usually help!

I was making a few there pretty steady and then the other day I tried to make something and worked at it for like an hour n a half n trashed it because it was just looking like total cat vomit.. lol luckily I didn't tell the FFA person I was working on anything and someone else ended up filling the request
