The girls are just finishing up a year of dance school and after their recital this Sunday, they'll have 3 months break until Ballet school beginning in September. If they wanna do summer camps when they are older, that's fine. But I *hated* summer camps as a kid that my parents picked for me because it always felt like they just wanted to get rid of me.

I understand that. I know some kids who do things during the summer they don't want to do. My kids want to do
more, but I don't want to be too scheduled and running around like crazy. So they each have to pick only 2 structured things each. Belle wanted to do tennis, another art program, track, and archery as well. And Ry wanted to do an art program and baseball (also he wanted to do archery but he isn't old enough yet). They had a hard time narrowing it down to two things. Finn is doing swimming lessons as well as the teeball I mentioned...because he wanted to do 2 things as well and he loves swimming.
The summer activities just started last week for my kids and they are having so much fun. They have a lot of friends who do the same activities as them as well and they love that.
