ohh wow that was such a long time ago....lol when Elyse was just a baby back in like 2003 a friend of mine gave me PSP8 and taught me how to use it...since she was making a lot of things with it I wanted to try it out and loved it

what about you? what got you into making siggies?

Quite by accident...my husband happened to have PSCS on his computer, and I was so fed up with asking other people to make me one...once I discovered them, of course. I became addicted! I started off mostly trying to edit my own pics, though, and it grew from there

Nah, we are all done. I was always a horrible pregnant woman (sick for the whole time...and I mean had to be on meds). At my age I am just done. My husband had the snip while I was pregnant with Grace, so no more for us...

Sharon: Have you always homeschooled? Why did you make that choice?

We have always homeschooled. Noah was homeschooled from 3rd grade or so until he graduated. And I was homeschooled from 8th grade until I graduated. And that is how we met in fact. Though we didn't start dating until the summer after we graduated.

We hadn't decided what we were going to do for a long time. We were open to either public school or homeschool. But when it was time to enroll Belle in prek if we were going that route I talked to the school. And they basically told me that Belle wasn't going to learn much, if anything, educational in prek. She was already reading books at that point and knew everything that was on the learning-points for the year. They said she would learn the structure/schedule of school. And things like sharing and standing in line. But Belle didn't have issues with those things. They offered to let her read to the class for story time instead of having the teacher read. But, I wasn't thrilled with that. That still wasn't teaching her anything.

So we decided to homeschool. And we don't have any plans to send them to public school full time, but we aren't opposed to it either. So someday they may be public schooled. Currently they all do somethings with the school though. Ryllan and Finn both do art at the school. And Belle did art her first quarter of this year....at the local middle school they only do 1 quarter of art a year. And she's doing chorus all year long. She was also on the cross country team. And plans to join the track team as well in the spring.

*Beverley, did you have a career before having children? What was it? You are a SAHM now right?

*Kristy, do your kids help with the animals and such? Dh had animals growing up and they helped with them.

I will have a ton, but right now only 2 of my sisters have had children so far. One has a 15 year old boy and a 2 year old girl. And the other had her first baby last May. So only 2 nephews and 1 neice so far from my family. I also have a 16 yo and a 14 yo nephew from Noah's side...his brother's boys.

Kristy, how many sibilings do you have?

Kristy: Are you enjoying having all the kids in school this year?
Sharon: Do you plan to homeschool through high school or will the kids have a choice of going to a public or private school?
Bev: how many siblings do you have?

Sharon: That is AMAZING!! Must be so rewarding. And meeting your husband that way?-What a nice story you two have I wish I had the patience to even attempt something like that. BUT, my children are better off this way I am not super happy with public school at this point (Caitlin's 1st few years of school were private before we moved here...which ironically we did because of the reputation of the school), so we may have to revisit. It's a shame, really.

Not a "career" as such. I started out teaching preschool, and then came to the US as an aupair. I have always worked with kids in some capacity (even did a stint at a children's clothing store;-))...Now I am a SAHM.

Gwyn: I have 4 older brothers...

Too cool!! Now I get jittery the further out I go) LOL. I like to visit, but could never stay out there in the boondocks. LOL.

I listen to all types...guess I am more partial to the folksy-type (Jason Mraz, Colbie Callait types), but I enjoy some rap, some country, definately most R&B.

My husband is more of a Dave Matthews Band kinda guy. I just bought him the Phil Phillips album for Christmas...
