Belle and Ryllan are starting public school next year. They both want to. Noah and I are fine with it. It will be soooo weird though. Quite an adjustment. It will be nice to have a little more time to spend with Finn and Zane though. Normally a huge chunk of our day is dedicated to school.
Finn still wants to be homeschooled next year he says. He will be in first grade.
THat will be an adjustment! That is cool that you guys are open to the idea, I have quite a few friends that were not given the option. I hope they transition well! DO they have to be tested through the public school prior to entering?
That's exciting, but I can see how that could end up being quite the adjustment, hopefully they will like it I have another friend who home schools and her kids recently started public school too and they are doing great and were ahead of the class and actually take some college classes
DO they have to be tested through the public school prior to entering?
No, they should have to be. But they are well ahead anyway. That is my main concern...that they keep learning. I don't want to send them to public school and have them just end up "leveling out" in a couple years, because they haven't learned much. But I will see how it goes.
