neither of my kids got any educational toys for Christmas, but David bought a Bill Nye the science guy paper making kit with money he got for Christmas. Use recycle newspaper into craft and writting paper.

My 2.5 year old got a Leapster with a bunch of games, some word puzzles, and books. I guess those would be considered educational, but the dress up clothes and dollhouse and things of that sort are educational, too, as they inspire imaginative play.

My oldest got lots of science kits and books, but the same thing goes for the other things she got...they all make her think in some way.

Arianna got a couple series of books, she loves to read. Her big gift was a Nintendo DS so she got an educational game from us and some fun ones from grandparents.
