Do you notice if you do more laundry when the kids out out of school over the summer? Or do you think it is about the same?

Actually, for me it's a little less. They don't have to change out of nice school clothes into play clothes like they do after school, and they can wear the same thing 2 days in a row because it's summer and who cares? Also, summer clothes are smaller (Tank tops and shorts vs. sweaters and long pants) so I can fit more days worth of clothes in a wash.

If it's anything like last summer it'll be less. DD comes home all kinds of messy from school, but doesn't get nearly as messy at home. That saves on laundry. Especially things I don't like to wash after one wear like jeans.

less. Zach also has to change clothes after school and he needs clean clothes everyday. During the summer as long as his shorts aren't noticably dirty he'll wear them 2 days in a row. Also, he tends to go around a lot in either just shorts or just underwear.

Actually a little more bc they feel they can change over one little spot on their clothes.
