Well I wanted to get a good jump on things and went ahead and bought all of my DS school stuff and clothes this week since school starts in a month. Has anyone else started yet? and if so did you get any good deals? I found a bunch of great sales this year.

Only thing I needed to get him was a lunch bag/box, a new backpack, and a new pair of shoes. We got the backpack and lunch bag a couple of weeks ago and I am taking him to Kohl's this Friday to get a new pair of shoes. He already has clothes and in our state we don't have to buy supplies for school as the schools are required to supply that so no school supplies by way of crayons, paper, etc for us to buy.

Didn't get a great deal on the backpack or lunch bag, they were both normal going rates. The shoes Kohl's has TONS of sales on shoes going plus I have a 20% off coupon so I'm hoping to get the shoes at least 50% off the original price if not more. Fingers crossed!

Nope! I don't even want to think about school starting yet! I'm a teacher so when that times comes I dread it just as much as she does. We usually shop in August.

My son starts August 3rd, but the district next to us starts July 28th.

This will be my first school shopping experience. We are headed out Sunday to get a jump on things.

I can't believe we are a month out from the start of school!
