I keep 1 in the freezer just in case I get sick or something. Someone had recommended I do that and when my husband was in Iraq I got HORRIBLY sick, I had a 104.5 fever and that was WITH Motrin and Tylenol alernating so I had something in my system every 3 hours, I was halucinating, freezing, I could hardly walk and was all by myself. My son was oh around 2 then and let me tell ya, the soup in the cupboard and the couple of kid cuisines in the freezer saved my butt for 3-4 days until I could function and actually cook. Since then I've always kept 1 or 2 in the freezer for an "emergency" but that is the only time I ever used them and gosh I don't think he's had one in probably 4 years.
So as a rule no, I do not feed them, but I do have them for an emergency night only. Even if I need something fast, I always have spaghetti and sauce in the house and I always have some veggies and lettuce so I can very easily do a salad and spaghetti for him for dinner in under 7 minutes.
