Hi all! I usually frequent the WTTC board, but I need help on what to get my 11 yr old Nephew for Christmas. 11 yr old boys are a mystery to me and I have no idea what they like to do. My SIL has said no weapons, but other than that, nothing's off limits.
Any ideas you can come up with would be very much appreciated! Thanks!!
depends on the kid. But CD's are good. Or gift cards to itunes.
Books for those kinda kids or gift cards to barnes and nobles
legos for some
some kids are into HOllister tshirts at this age
a video game
Have you asked for any kind of wish list? If not, you probably should.
Visa gift cards that can be used anywhere are good.
If he has any kind of gaming system (Wii, DS, X-Box, etc) a game that he'd enjoy is good (my son LOVES the Transformers Dark of the Moon game for Playstation 3, as well as the Ghost Busters game for PS3). Does he like movies? If so my son (who is 10) loves both Ghost Buster movies, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones. Remote controlled cars are good too and I got one for my son's b-day at Costco for $30 and it's an awesome car and has held up great! Squirt/water guns, although that may be harder to find since we're coming into winter. Computer games if they have a computer. Reading wise my son loves the Goosebumps books, Chronicles of Narnia, Boxcar Children. The Transformers trilogy movies are good too. Plasma ball, lava lamp,
That's about all I can think of off the top of my head. Good luck!
With this age what they like can vary greatly, I'd be scared to go in without some idea of what he's into. My son (who is 10 1/2) is really into video games, taking pictures and making videos, so we're getting him a digital camera for christmas and some video games. Where as his friends are all heavily into sports!
A gift card isn't a bad idea either, I don't know a kid out there who wouldn't love to go pick out the toy of his/her choice!
