Hi, I am from New Zealand and wanted to order some clothes (tshirts etc) for my boys, as your sizing here is very different I was wondering if someone could help as I cant make much sense of the sizing chart
I need to buy for my smallish 10 year old and my tall 4 year old...
Would a L suit a 10 year old? and a S a big 4 year old?
Most kids clothes come in number sizes. Such as I just bought my son jeans that are a size 10...he's 10. The numbers on the pants tend to go with age. Just bought him shirts and a L is a 12/14, but the mediums were 8/10. I wanted them big enough to last at least 2 winters so I got a large.
For a 10 year old, depending on your child's build and the brand of clothes either a medium or large should be fine in shirts and pants would correspond with age (so a 10 would probably work fine).
For your 4 year old either a 4T or an XS or S depending again on the size/build of your 4 year old and the brand of clothes would be find for shirts and a size 4 or 5 in pants should be fine.
If you're able to, I'd highly recommend you actually GO to a store and have your children try the clothes on. It makes things a lot easier.
