I have been researching schools for weeks now and yesterday we went and found some of these schools - and looked at a few houses. It's just soo much to take in. Where ever we land will be a permanate spot (we've promised the kids we will not switch their schools again) so I'm finding it particularly stressful to find a house that meets our needs AND in school district that we like. I think I found one but the school is a charter school so I am not sure that they could even get into it. I hope so because the school has an A grade, which is fantastic! It also comes very highly recommended by DH's boss whose wife works there and their kids go there. (hoping she can pull some strings for us!). Joe is happy to move anytime because he's having a pretty hard time at our current school, a lot problems with other kids. We haven't decided whether we will finish the school year here or move mid-year. I hate to do that to Jay but with Joe being so miserable I hate to make him suffer another 5 months. Just don't know!!

Good luck! I have been doing a lot of research myself, and it is stressful. We're in the same boat too...my top schools picks are all charter schools.

Good luck, picking a neighborhood with a great school can be tough. Try to hang in there.
