I'm still a bit bummed that I couldn't go but Jay is off to his first field trip today! He was SOO excited this morning! Even more that he didn't have to wear a uniform today! I can't wait till he gets home to tell me all about it!!
They went to a local farm/petting zoo, he had a blast!! He got to milk a cow, ride a horse, hold a chicken and take a tractor drawn hay ride (he said, "we took a hair ride and the hair really hurt my butt!" LOL) They got to see all sorts of animals, then they (the farm) are doing their Easter celebration so all the kids got to find an Easter egg with a prize inside. I sent him with some money too so he was able to get something from the gift shop, he got himself a model train set! He loved it!!
That sounds like an awesome field trip! I'm so glad he enjoyed it and that was nice of you to give him some money for something. My kids love being able to get something all on their own.
