Looking forward to summer break or sad to be away from school/friends for 3 months?

Right now they say they are excited about summer, but I bet about a week into it, they will be wishing they were back at school with their friends.

Mine seem indifferent. I am excited myself though!

It's definitely a good mixture of both. We are all really ready for the break but they will be missing their friends for sure.

She absolutely LOVES school, so she has mixed feelings about summer break.

Fortunately they're only off school for 7 weeks here, don't think any of us would cope with 3 months off
They still have just over 5 weeks of school left, thankfully!
We live in a small town so they'll be able to keep up with friends fairly regularly.

Hmm, I don't know he hasn't said. But since most of his friends live in our subdivision it's not like he doesn't see them at all. Probably happy, but I think he'd looking forward to next school year as he wants to join orchestra and play the violin.
