Do your kids still wake up early on their own, do you get them up, or do you let them sleep in?

I have three that still get up pretty early...about seven. Miss Beth on the other hand is still snoozing away at 8:30, lol. I think I am going to start getting her up at some point...I don't feel like fixing two breakfasts.

Yep! Not as early as they would for school but they're still up by 7:30! The younger two have been sleeping in a bit more - 8am. I guess I won't complain, 8 sure beats 6!!

Right now, we're still getting up early because Brinlee has tennis lessons at 9am each morning through the week. I get her up at about a quarter til 8 so we can head to tennis an hour later.

They;re still at school so still up at 7. Lucas is always up at the crack of dawn no matter what though. Jaidyn is usually up early, but occasionally sleeps until 8am on weekends.

Arianna sleeps in later but Natalie's still up at the crack of dawn. (8:00-8:30).

My kids NEVER sleep in. They get up by 6:15 no matter what. Sigh.

Hi! I'm mostly a lurker, don't post too much. School is still in till June 29 but we are all burned out and there is no curriculum at this point, so DD goes in late occasionally like today. I work, but DH is retired so he takes her to school. He helps with the music program (very small private school). So they went in around 10ish. DD normally sleeps in till almost 11 on the weekends. She is 10 and in 5th grade. We are LATE sleepers on the weekends becuase we are night owls. I can't get DD to get to sleep before 1030. She may be in bed at 9, but doesn't fall alseep until way after 10. Just the way she has always been. We can NOT wait until school is out! So over it. We change schools next year and can't wait!

Once they are out of school they usually sleep til about 8ish. Kristi, Leah & Trey love to sleep (typical teens) so usually it's about 10 before I wake them up. I don't like them sleeping later than that because it's a waste of a day IMO.

I let him get up on his own during the summer. It ranges, anywhere from 6:30 to 9:00 depending on the day, what time he went to bed, etc. About a week before school starts, we start setting the alarm and getting back into the "school groove".
