As soon as I get a list of needed supplies from the new school. And then there is a uniform day at the new school that we have to go to to order the uniforms and buy the PE clothes. I haven't recieved a letter on that yet. I'm sure it will come in the next few weeks.

I'll start buying uniforms mid-July. No supply lists as the school supplies everything.

I've already started buying clothes, new backpack and lunchbox, and generic supplies (folders, pencils, etc.). I will buy specific supplies when I get a list, which is the day before school starts.

On our schools website they already have supply lists. I'm trying to wait for some sales. We are starting Kindergarten this year at our house. She can reuse her preschool backpack since its big enough. I buy crayons every year during back to school so we have those. I need to get her some pants when the fall clothes roll out. I don't think I'll have to get too much there. Going to need some shoes though.

Only thing my son will NEED is shoes and we won't get those until the 3rd week of July or so. Our "supply list" is a wish list (it isn't legal in our state to require kids to get materials for school), so it's usually only 4-5 things and I can't get those until we get the list which is 4 days before school starts. Backpack is still good to go from last year as is his lunch bag, he has plenty of shorts and t-shirts, socks, underwear, etc already so don't need to replace or add to those. So just a pair of shoes and he's good to go.

I saw they had rows of new uniforms already up at Target yesterday. Time flies!

We're switching to homeschooling next year, so no more uniforms and no more lists for me. I do need to buy quite a bit though, and have already been looking online. And then I'll go to the usual back to school sales for pencils, paper, crayons, etc.

I try to not think about it until August. If I'm out and see a great sale on something I know they're going to need I'll get it but most of it comes in August.

Got my letter from the school, so I have the supply list. I might go this weekend but I need to rummage through my DDs backpack and see if she has anything left over from last year that still might be good. The uniform company will be at the school on July 27 or 28, I can't remember. I hope to find a new back pack with wheelies for DD, her old one is pink and I think she is over the pink. Her new lunch box is already bought because I found it on QVC last year, I bought two colors, so she had one last year in greeen and now she has a blue one for this year. her one last year is soo dirty and gross I would not put food in it again. A new clean one is a must.
