Went to the store this morning and they were setting up the school supply section already! We're just barely a month out of school (1 month and 1 day actually). Wow! Seems early to me but I guess it would probably be a good idea to start getting supplies now since the lists for next year are pretty long!

School for us starts in about a month! I have so much to do. I have uniform day to get uniforms from DDs school. A huge supply list, so that's a Target run and hopefully get everything. Find her a new back pack with wheelies which are hard to find in a very basic color for a big kid. And her old school just let out June 29 and we had a school trip to San Fransisco we just got back from. So it's been not stop for us!

I finally pried the school supply list out of the school's hands today (not sure why they can't get it to us sooner!). We're the last district to start here, so it's tough! Glad I did because we still have 3 weeks before our district starts and I couldn't find any pencils and the plastic folders were sparse. $11 out the door and we're done except for one small pack of pencils. So glad! So got him a pair of shoes for $40 and $11 in supplies, so $51 total and we're all done and that includes everything. And done 3 weeks early!

Our school won't put out teacher lists until a few days before school starts, such a pain! Right now they just have out a basic list which I've got pretty much everything off that and then some things I expect they'll need. Now I need to start getting uniforms.

We're homeschooling this year, so I am pretty much off the hook. Once I see some good sales though I will stock up on all the basics...notebooks, pencils, crayons, glue, etc. Everything is out now, but not cheap yet.

I have seen things out. But have not gotten anything but some notebooks that were 3 for $1 and a rain check for folders that were 10 for $1.

Staples has index cards for a penny for a 100 count when you spend $5. that won't be hard to do. I use some of these things for my Tastefully Simple business so now is a good time to stock up on them!!!

School supplies have been in stores for weeks where I live. I haven't bought anything yet, but I'm not looking forward to it.

I live on a fixed income, so I need all the time I can to buy supplies.
