Our school hasn't released the teacher list yet, just a basic list. The teacher will give us a class specific list at the open house which I think is August 29th - I hate that they wait that long! But I'm going off last years lists and buying as much as I can so I don't have to do it all at once at the end.

Anyway this is what is on the basic lists -
Jay's list - 1st grade:

So...the glue sticks are proving to be a needle in a haystack to find since everything is disappearing purple. I bought large Elmer's glue sticks for $1.62 a piece.....the reg size disappearing purple are 10 cents a piece (I'm slightly annoyed by this...). Also apparently regular stores do not carry 1/2 inch binders with pocket. I got Kayley a 1 inch binder with cute puppies on it.....we called the school today and they said it was fine but we will see. Everything is bought though!! Now for shoes, jackets, and clothes.....

Looking at these, I'm so glad our schools provide everything!

Well, our school has a "wish list" as it is state law that they must provide everything needed for the child to receive an education (actually, if you push this, it would be the case in all states). But our wish list was:

2 folders with brackets
one box of pencils
dry erase markers
2 composition books
2 spiral one subject notebooks
scissors
pencil box
highlighters
hand sanitizer
kleenex
ream of copy paper

I think that was about it.

I spent $11 on stuff and we're all done.

I have not gotten anything. Breana will be in Kindergarten. I wish I knew what to get since there are some good deals on things.
