Have you let your GS'er get "off schedule" over summer?

If so, when will you start getting back into a certain bedtime/wake time?

Right now I've been letting Joe stay up till 10:30 I'm thinking I will start cutting it back by 30 minutes a week to get him back in the habit of 9pm for bed. Jay crashes by 9 though lol, poor boy just isn't cut out for late nights!

Not really. I mean there are nights that we'd go out and do stuff and it'd be a late night, which we wouldn't do doing the school year, but nights we were home he was still in bed around 8:00-8:30 at the latest. The only difference is that in the summer he can get up whenever he wants versus having to get up at 6:30 to the alarm clock.

Since we really don't veer off schedule much, we don't start getting back on schedule until the 1st day of school. During the school year he's in bed by 7:30-8:00, so it was really only 30 minutes more in the summer.

The week before school starts I'll start easing them back to an 8pm bedtime again. During the summer they've had a 9pm bedtime. I won't mess with their wake-up time, it won't be that much earlier when school starts, because L and K wake up pretty early and O and A can't sleep through the noise lol.

My girls are not on a schedule in the summer unless we need to be somewhere. I'll start getting them more into a routine about a week before.

Oh yeah my kids are way off
I think I might start like someone else said and cut it back by 30 mins till they are at a good bed time again
the only thing with that is I really should be waking them up early too lol

We get way off during the summer. I'll start easing them back into their 8 o'clock bedtime and getting up early next week.

Right now Kayley stays up only until 8:30. The week before I'll get her back on an 8:00 bedtime. Won't be too bad.
