How long do your children's teachers typically do review from the previous year before starting in on the new material?

I honestly don't really know, never paid that close of attention to what was from the previous year and what is new.

The curriculum typically has a review of material built in the elementary grades.

For Jay's grade (1st) they will review for a few weeks. Joe's grade (6th) they just started on new stuff from day 1.
