Jay came home with broken glasses today, I guess another kid bumped into him and they broke and fell off and the broken part went down a sewer drain. I'm going to stop by the vision place we go to and hope I put a warranty on them and can get them fixed or replaced for a reasonable price. Little kids and glasses do not mix, this is the second pair in less than 6 months he's killed. *sigh*

And of course I didn't buy the warranty, I'm such an idiot! So ordered a new pair but it's 6-11 days before they'll come in. I am hoping, with some extra parts we have from his old glasses, that we can fix it enough for him to wear until the new ones come in.
In the meantime his teacher moved him to the front of the class so he can see better, he seems to function pretty well without them so I think he'll be OK but within 2-3 days his eyes will start to wander again.
