Does your school have one?

Do you go to the meetings?

Does your PTA/PTO do anything special for the school (fairs or other events)?

Ours has one, I am going to try my best to make it to the meetings this year but they tend to be before 6 and my husband rarely makes it home in time for me to go. I am pretty sure our PTO is who puts on the fall festival but I am not 100% sure what else they do.

Do you go to the meetings? Yep! I am the secretary

Does your PTA/PTO do anything special for the school (fairs or other events)? We do all kinds of events for the school, fundraisers, we bring in people for the all school assemblies, field trips, dances, picnics, hay rides, the auction, basically anything extra we are responsible for.

I joined last year. It was pretty pathetic...maybe five parents at each meeting for a school of 300 kids.

Yep, we have a PTO. I do not go to meetings, they're typically right at dinner time and it just doesn't work for me. They put on A LOT of fundraising stuff. 99% of it we stopped going to because it was boresville.

Does your PTA/PTO do anything special for the school (fairs or other events)? We organise 4 discos, 10 coffee mornings, Christmas Craft Fair and 2 major evening adult only fund raisers every year. We also buy Christmas presents for every child on the school which is a bit of a headache, but loads of fun!
