What happened this time? When are they moving him?

ETA: I re-read and see that he has a week and a half left. I hope it goes smoothly.

Why does he hate her?

The mama bear in me would want my child to be moved too. Realistically, I don't know that it is really the best thing to do. In life, we don't always mesh with everyone, but we have to learn to adjust and make the best of the situation. I don't want my children to think I can rescue them from every situation they don't find ideal. But I do understand where you're coming from, because my inner mama bear roars loudly. I'm very protective of my children

I hope it all gets resolved, and quickly, so your son can have a good school year. Keep us updated.

I have to agree with Erica. Middle school is right around the corner for him, and he is going to need to meet these teachers in the middle. It is her class and her classroom. She asked the kids to get two books - he didn't do that. She told them they needed to make an 80%...he didn't do that. I get that a 70% is passing, but that hardly shows mastery. There are probably a good 20-25 kids in the class. In a group environment some standards just have to be in place. I think it's fine to switch classes, but you can do that behind the scenes as an adult without teaching your child that it is okay to disrespect this teacher.
