Will your GS'er be able to wear his/her costume to school tomorrow?

Ours will not, they are allowed to dress up as a book character - as long as they bring the book with them. Or as their favorite vocabulary word - I don't even get that lol.

Mine think that's lame so they're not dressing up.

They are not allowed to dress up for Halloween. However, they always do Book Character day on October 31st, so the kids can dress up for that. Brinlee is going as Fern from Charlotte's Web.

Ryan is able to be a storybook character. He will be Charlie Brown.

Our kids are allowed to dress up as a book or movie character...which is pretty much any Halloween costume LoL. They do a parade around the school, and then have a class party in the afternoon after lunch for an hour. However, no weapons (real or fake), no masks, and no face paint are allowed. My son will be wearing part of his costume, but since part of it is a mask, that will have to stay at home.

Our old school used to do a costume parade! I miss those kinds of things, our school district here is just really boring!
