What time does your GS'ers school start?

8am here! Puts us getting up at 6, I don't like it lol. I was looking at the schools in the area we're hoping to move to this summer and school is an hour later - even MORE of a reason to move there LOL!

8:15, but some days he has to be there by 7:40 for journalism. I have him there FAR earlier than 8:15 though so he can go play for a bit before school starts.

He gets up at 6:30.

Well we're homeschooling now. But the two schools my kids have been to started at 7:20 (Mississippi - the school bus came at 6:40) and 7:40 (Maryland - the school bus came at 7:20.)

Personally I like the early start because I enjoy them getting home early enough in the afternoon that we still have time to do othet things and have some family time.

My daughter starts school at 7:50am. We have early productive mornings...but it doesn't bother me.

The elementary school starts at 7:40 - wake up time is 6:25 ... but C does Chorus twice a week and that starts at 7:10. They get out at 2:20 - home at 2:45.

Our middle school starts at 9:00. They get up at 7:15 (bus at 7:50). Le has morning workouts at 7:30 for an hour twice a week. They get out at 4:15 - home at 5:00.

(Just for info - high school starts at 8:40, out at 3:40 ... there is no normal for getting up and leaving and getting home as the club and rehearsal schedule is all over the place - I can only keep up with it by using a calendar!)

8:30 here and she is up at 6:30 and on the bus by 8:12
