Will your GS'er go on a field trip this year with their school?

If so, do you know where they are going?

We just found out yesterday for Jay's class -they're going to seaworld! Long day too leave at 8:30 and get back at 6! Wow! I can't go so I'm a bit sad about that but it'll be fun for him and I told him we'd just buy an annual pass and then after his school trip he can take me on the weekend and give me a tour lol!

They haven't announced it for the 6th graders yet but one teachers website mentions if we have an annual pass we can use it, so I'm thinking they did seaworld last year I don't think they'd do it again so maybe gatorland or universal (although that's not very educational lol) We'll see!

I have no idea. Haven't heard anything, but usually if they do it isn't until March or April and we hear about it 3 weeks or so ahead of time.

Wow, what an awesome field trip!

My kids went to public school last year and they didn't take any field trips at all. Too many budget cuts I guess. This year I homeschooled them and we took field trips all the time. We are living just outisde of Washington DC, so there is lots to see and do.

That is a great trip! Super fun for the kids!

At our school, the kids go on a trip monthly. In April, they have their first sleep over trip (first grade) which they are SUPER excited for! They are gone 2 days and 1 night, and the girls can't wait!

I don't think D has any this year. None that I have heard about so far anyway.

That sounds like an awesome trip. I think it is either 6th or 7th grade that they get to go to SeaWorld here. Hopefully they will still be doing this trip when D gets that age!
