Jaidyn spends time on the laptop, wii, DS & ipod, but she doesn't own any of them. During the summer she's been allowed to spend around 3 hours max in a day on them, not all in the one hit though, she gets half hour windows throughout the day. If the weather's good she's usually outside on her bike or trampoline anyway, so it tends to be the rainy days she spends the time on them. Once school goes back she'll get half an hour before or after dinner during the week and a max of 3 hours in the day over the weekends (again it really is weather dependent)
My boys play the wii, ds's, computer and my ipod/iphone. Riley is 'addicted' to Minecraft, so they have found that if one uses the ipod and the other uses the iphone, they can join each other.
Now that we have a yard. with grass, and trees, lol, they go outside and play a lot more. Which makes me very happy!
The only electronics that are 'theirs' are their DS's. I don't really limit their time on any said device.
Teddy doesn't have any electronics that belong to just him. He gets an hour a day to play video games or use the computer. Generally he can watch what he wants on our tv for one hour. After that, he has to watch whatever DH and I watch. There's no tv or games until homework is done.
During the summer he is on way too much! But There is no one in this neighborhood for him to play with, and I don't have the gas to take him visiting all the time. During the school year, he averages about an hour to an hour and a half a day
Thank you *Kiliki* for once again doing such amazing work on a siggie
I can do all things through Christ which Strengtheneth me. (Phil 4:13)
Hailey has her phone and ipod that she uses the most. Her phone she texts her friends throughout the day. Not excessively though. Her ipod she plays games and listens to music. I do not limit the time on either because she is not excessive with them. We also has a wii, playstaion and xbox, but she rarely ever plays on those
