Does your child have any pets of their own or family pets that they share responsibility for? If so, what responsibilities do they have for taking care of the pet?

Yes, we have quite a few.

3 cats, Simon, Dexter and Tuck
2 Hermit Crabs- Milton & Norbert
1 Dove- Bronwyn

Parker is responsible for feeding the cats, and he does. Sometimes I have to remind him, but he does it.

The crabs I do, because they need real food, and it's just easier to me to cut the veggies and fruit up, although he sometimes helps.

The bird he feeds, but I clean her cage.

we have a lot too.

3 cats (2 indoor, 1 indoor/outdoor)
4 dogs
2 rabbits
1 snake
koi pond with 11 fish
* my daughter has a horse at her grandparents

both my kids feed the animals in the evening and I feed them in the morning.

Usually Hailey will refill the indoor cats food and water dish as well as feed them wet food, feed the rabbits and refill the dogs food and water bowls

The only animal the kids don't feed or take care of at all is the snake.

Her grandparents pretty much do all care for the horse. Hailey will brush her and give her treats when she goes over to ride and she will wash the horse when she has horse shows etc.
