Yesterday BRandon lost a tooth at school...put it under the pillow etc...I go to get it last night and there are TWO teeth under the pillow. Apparently he pulled a second one that was loose after he went to bed. YIKES!
Thank goodness I saw it or he would have thought the tooth fairy short changed him

lol, heck ya we did the tooth fairy. It's my favorite among all the "fun stuff" because she doesn't interfere with the true meaning of the "fun stuff" (santa, easter bunny ... while we've always done them, I felt like the kids got shortchanged on the true meaning of christmas and easter)
I liked being the toothfairy, because it didn't cost me much to do it! I've ALWAYS given 50 cents and even at 11, my son is happy to have it (although, he just brings me the tooth now and I hadn him 50 cents and we throw it away) I have a niece that always gave her kids 5-20 bucks .... I thought it was insane ... maybe I'm just cheap!
Yes we do the tooth fairy, Krystle gets a gold dollar for every tooth she looses and I will do the same for the twins. Krystle's are all in a jar in her room, I think she has only spent 3 or 4.00 out of her jar. She likes to say it is her magic money LOL.
Yes we will do the tooth fairy. That's so cute about the two teeth under the pillow. Myles is about to loose his first tooth any day now (he's five). I cant wait! It kind of makes me sad in a way to see his little baby teeth go.
I did the toothfairy until my son lost his last tooth. :sniff sniff: He got 5.00 for his first and last tooth and 1.00 in between. But I still get Santa Claus..... and the Easter Bunny

Caleb's 6 and STILL no wiggly teeth!! I'll do the tooth fairy thing though!! I'm looking forward to it!!!!!!!! Probably $2 for the first tooth and then $1 for the next ones......???
Love the tooth fairy deal! I'm a dental hygienist & at every visit we include a treasure chest in the take home bag to put the next loose tooth in for the tooth fairy. Kids ask about the tooth fairy and tell their stories when they come in!
I've heard from a lot of parents that they tell their children that the tooth fairy also comes and takes their pacifiers to give to other babies when the time comes!

The pacifier one is a good one. I have never thought of that. Good thinking.

We are doing the tooth fairy. When Andy lost his first tooth a couple of months ago i made him a tooth pillow, but didn't have it finished in time. So now he is eager to use it. He has 5 loose teeth right now His front one i am sure will come out today or tomorrow, and picture retakes are this week so we should have an interesting picture waiting for us.
Yes we do it. There are 3 children in the family. My son and two nieces. My son and one of the niece are both 6 so they still believe. My other niece is 8 and she come home and told me that her mom was in fact the tooth fairy. And she didn\'t believe in her or santa. (even though she still likes getting the money) I told her just don\'t tell the little ones. There still young enough to believe
