Last night we had strong wind warnings. Some trees got knocked down and some people lost electric. I got up this morning and got Kody up for school. Then I got on the computer to read the local news.....2 hour delay today for local schools.....I look outside, not a drop of snow. The schools had electric. Why the delay??? Anyway, he is at school now.

boy, we've had some strong winds here today too. I had a hard time driving on the highway this morning.

Sometimes we have had delays or even closings and I look outside and don't get why. I guess if any bus routes or roads in the district are affected they delay or close .

They rarely ever have delays here, but when we lived in Baltimore if any one mentioned snow, high winds, freezing rain, or anything their would either be a delay or closing weather the bad weather came or not. I think it's a bit ridiculas. I remember one time when the cicadas where out in Baltimore they closed school early b/c they were supposedly to loud.

Jordon had yesterday & Tuesday off. Tuesday morning was sheer ice, the roads were awful. That night, it rained & we had the strong winds too. I hardly slept, I was afraid a tree was going to fall on the house The roads were still bad yesterday. He's happy to be back today!
