I have a near;y 1 year old (1st september 2004) She is lactose intolerent and i need help to get some home made - healthy, salt and sugar and lactose free main dishes and deserts and snaks. I am based in England and to be honest none of my family or friends have a clue.....

You need to becoem familiar with soy in all its many forms.... check out the vegetarian board.

We have been told not to give her Soy at all!! she was on soya milk for a while and did not agree with her. Its main meels and the reciepees i am looking for i am totally clueless and dont like giving her jared food.

Have you tried Lactaid? They have it in chewable tablets and when mine gets really bad that is what I use. I LOVE dairy and cant seem to be able to give it up. Also any milk products that are processed with bacteria, yogurt cheese etc, shouldnt bother her much if at all. All depending on how bad she is with it. I would definately try the Lactaid before giving up unless she shows a allergy to the actual milk proteins.

Also Rice Dream is a wonderful product, you can find info on it and recipies here http://www.imaginefoods.com/ I used this growing up, but switched to lactaid products once I found them.
