So I am not normally one to cook outside of the book. DH will sometimes say "Is this a Whitney recipe?" It's not normally a good thing when I throw stuff together but last night it worked. I know that this is REALLY simple and you have all probably done it before but I am drooling at the thought of the leftovers. Feel free to add and change ingredients based on taste and what you have on hand.
Crock Pot Chicken Tacos!
2 pounds chicken cut in strips
1 green pepper cut into strips
one sweet onion sliced
1 cup water
1 packet Ortega taco seasoning
Mix it all up it in the crock pot. I did low heat for 7 hours and it was to die for. Served with fresh guacamole, sour cream, and cheese. YUM!
