meat, starch+starch for him
meat, starch +veggie for me.

Could be a pasta with a salad and bread (will always have beef or chicken in it)
Or it could be steak, rice (he will have more than one serving) and a veggie for me.

Last night we had skillet lasagna (that I then baked) and garlic bread. Was so good, but I made enough for like 9 people!

We almost always have a meat, starch, and veggie. Sometimes we go without the starch. Others we do a vegetarian meal.

DH won't touch cooked veggies so unless it's in salad form, he wont eat them. Really limits my food intake cause I hate cooking two meals!

Generally we do meat, starch and veggie/fruit. Patrick won't eat meats, Erin's really picky about veggies. She loves carrots and ranch dressing so I try to include those as often as I can. (but often I get them out just for her and eat whatever other veggies I want, lol)

Startch is generally rolls or a rice side. (my kids won't eat mashed potatoes!!)
