Augie invited me to join here, and I adore her, so I thought, "why not?"
My name is Brittanie, and I'm the mommy of 4 beautiful babies. Cora was stillborn May 2, 2006, Erin is 4 1/2, Patrick is 2 (will be 3 in February) and Allison is 2 1/2 months.
I've been cooking for my family since my mom went back to work full time when I was 12, and now for my own little family since I'm a SAHM. Only, Allison is dairy sensitive and I'm nursing, so I'm now trying to figure out how to cook normally without milk and cheese and it's harder than I thought!
Anyway, that's me in a nutshell. Nice to meet you!
Well, no intro of me needed for you Brit, but for anyone else, HI! I'm Augie new host of this board. My husband (Chris) and I have had four miscarriages which were followed by unexplained infertility. We're now looking into adoption with some big announcements hopefully coming soon.
As for cooking, I taught myself 5 years ago when I moved out of my parents' house and in with DH (then BF). I absolutely love to cook and have been told that I'm pretty good at it. I'm a firm believer that everyone can cook well with a little confidence and maybe help to get started.
And Brit, Welcome! Thanks for joining us!
Thanks to Jaidynsmum for my siggy!
