Soups are fun. This week I've made turkey soup and I plan on doing a tomato soup Tuesday or Wednesday. Beef barley and beef stews are also popular around here. I've done butternut squash and pepper medley soups, too.

I make soup often. I usually just wing it I always put pureed veggies in there too. It helps the consistancy of the broth. My best trick is to use sweet potato puree to balance the flavor if its gotten too spicy!

Some days I find myself anxious to start cooking dinner even though my husband doesnt get home from work until about 7. Those days I'll make soup cause I can start early

That's one of my favourite things about soups, actually. You can simmer them for a long time and the house smells heavenly all evening.

I love soup. DH can't cause of Sensory problems.

I like chicken and barley soup.. diced chicken breast boiled in broth, with potatoes, carrot, and barley with wild rice (sometimes I use white and wild).

I've done it with out the chicken, and I've used turkey in the past.

I mostly make purees. Roasted pepper is my fave. I also like a good chowder.
